Happy 30th Birthday, Iron Chef

The Iron Chef officially turned 30 last week. Wowzer! Can't believe he's already 30 and I'm quickly approaching.

If You Give a Mom a Muffin

Classic books create classic lines. I love this one and had to share. This is exactly, to a 'T' how I feel my life has been these days. For example, the play room was a DISASTER. Miss A, in a serious face, turns and looks at me and replies, "Mommy, it's not messy in here at all." I'm trying to clean and get ready for the holidays. I take two steps forward and ten steps backwards. My life these days ...

If you give a mom a muffin, she'll want a cup of coffee to go with it. She'll pour herself some. Her three-year-old will spill the coffee. She'll wipe it up. Wiping the floor, she will find dirty socks. She'll remember she has to do laundry. When she puts the laundry in the washer, she'll trip over boots and bump into the freezer. Bumping into the freezer will remind her she has to plan supper. She will get out a pound of hamburger. She'll look for her cookbook. (101 Things To Make With A Pound Of Hamburger.) The cookbook is sitting under a pile of mail. She will see the phone bill, which is due tomorrow. She will look for her checkbook. The checkbook is in her purse that is being dumped out by her two-year-old. She'll smell something funny. She'll change the two-year-old. While she is changing the two-year-old the phone will ring. Her five-year-old will answer and hang up. She'll remember that she wants to phone a friend to come for coffee. Thinking of coffee will remind her that she was going to have a cup. She will pour herself some. And chances are, if she has a cup of coffee, her kids will have eaten the muffin that went with it.

Hair Scare!

This little chicka has hair that is OUT OF CONTROL! Seriously. Pictures prove it. If anyone knows some good baby hair products out there, I need to know asap. She'll need major help in this area. But, I love her dearly, hair and all! Looks like she's wearing a wig in some of the snapshots.

Prepping for Winter

We pulled out the warm hats last week. Brrrrrrr, it was COLD here! Miss A and Little O are almost ready for the cold weather. Miss A needs more long sleeve dresses. She is a dress girl all the way and the short sleeve dresses just aren't going to cut it, although she'd like to wear them out the door. As for hats, mits, we are ready!f

Two Funny Videos of Little O

Little O's crazy tongue talking. She babbles all the time and this is one of her funny voice babblings.

She is definitely moving ALL OVER THE PLACE! It's crazy how quickly she moves.

We Had a Visitor

Mimi came to visit! We had a blast, a great Halloween, and I'm REALLY behind on blogging.

Helmet Update

Say goodbye to the cute pink helmet. Little O has outgrown her first helmet. :(

She's getting so big. However, she is still in need of wearing a helmet for her plagiocephaly. A new helmet has been ordered and is being made for her. The helmet arrives next week. She voted for butterflies this time.

She is still within a 6 mm range difference in the back (started with 11 mm difference) and the distance from eyes/ears and nose/ears is still off by quite a bit. The specialist does not think this measurement will improve much. We're crossing our fingers we can make drastic improvements in the next few months.
